Imagine stepping into a world where trust hangs by a thread, alliances are ever-shifting, and every decision could lead to victory or betrayal. Welcome to Betrayers, a thrilling team-building experience that draws inspiration from the heart-pounding BBC TV show, Traitors. In this article, we invite you to discover the essence of Betrayers through an exploration of its captivating elements.
Before we dive into the world of Betrayers, let’s first unravel the intrigue of the BBC sensation, Traitors. Also known as “The Traitors UK” outside of the UK, this British reality television series premiered on 29 November 2022 and is hosted by the charismatic Claudia Winkleman. Traitors is based on the Dutch series “De Verraders.” Traitors earned the accolade of BBC’s biggest new series for young viewers in 2022 with a peak of 1.5million viewers for the final episode of season one.
Following the premise of other versions of “De Verraders,” the show features a group of contestants participating in a game similar to the party game Mafia. In this game, a small group of contestants becomes the titular Traitors and must work together to eliminate the other contestants in pursuit of a grand prize. Meanwhile, the remaining contestants become Faithfuls and are tasked with discovering and banishing the Traitors by voting them out, all for the chance to claim the grand prize.
Series one took place at the stunning Adross Castle in Scotland which provided the perfect spooky atmospher for the Traitors.

While the BBC show left an indelible mark on its viewers, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to bring its essence to life in a unique way with our new team building experience, Betrayers. We created a series of games and challenges designed to stay true to the TV show but also incorporate more of a team building element to it. With puzzles, conundrums, scavenger hunts and musical games, we created a variety of experiences within one event.
We kept the concept of the Betrayers very similar to Traitors. Groups split into teams and among them will be Betrayers and Faithfuls. Teams participate in each game challenge and following each challenge, teams gather to unveil the Betrayers within their midst. The goal? Identify the traitors before the final round-table moment.
With robed hosts and a tense atmosphere, the Betrayers is the perfect team building event to bring teams out of their work environment. Games are designed to challenge strategic thinking, teamwork and collaboration.
